Strictly necessary
These keep the platform working and cannot be switched off. They maintain your signed-in session, protect forms against cross-site request forgery, remember the contents of your checkout, and enforce rate limits that protect the platform from abuse. Because the site cannot function without them, we do not ask for consent for these.
Preferences
These remember choices you have made: light or dark theme, display currency, dismissed banners, and your country filter. They exist purely to avoid asking you the same question twice. Most are stored in your browser's local storage rather than as cookies, and never leave your device.
Analytics
Where enabled, these help us understand which pages are used and where people run into trouble, so we can improve the platform. They are set only if you accept them, and are not used to build an advertising profile of you.
Third parties
Our payment providers may set their own cookies on their hosted checkout pages in order to process your payment and prevent fraud. Those cookies are governed by the provider's own policy.
Your data, your control
You can download everything we hold about you, or permanently delete your account, at any time from your profile settings.
